When Russel and Sasha founded Koskela in May 2000, they left the corporate world behind to truly follow their hearts – to create a business that reflected their beliefs and passions. The decision felt right, as they trusted in their own judgment.
And from the moment they imagined their first product on a hill overlooking Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach, they knew that everything they did would be infused with joy.
It all starts with the type of products we design. We want Koskela products to last whether for your workplace or home, or for educational or recreational environments – we design products that are destined to become classics.
Chef and owner Michael Rantissi grew up in Tel Aviv, watching his mum cook and feasting on the multi-cultural offerings of his neighbourhood. He did his professional training in Israel at Tadmor College and then studied at the EPI Academy in Paris, then the CIA (not the CIA, that’s the Culinary Institute of America) in New York.
In 2005 he arrived in Australia where he joined the fine dining restaurant kitchen at The Bathers’ Pavilion as Sous Chef. After 3 years tat Bathers’ he moved to Pink Salt, Double Bay then to down to The Rocks and Circular Quay to work with the 100 Group.
Michael Rantissi 13The food Michael serves at Kepos Street Kitchen draws on the best of his childhood meals mixed with classical training and an ever-developing palate. Dishes have a strong Mediterranean influence with a Middle Eastern twist.

At Britely, we draw inspiration from around the world to create aspirational lifestyle environments that set new benchmarks in meeting the changing needs of the modern human. We are constantly evolving our ‘customer-focussed’ philosophy to generate beautiful and innovative solutions to respond to our customers’ needs.
First and foremost we are selective in locating our projects, investing only in desirable suburbs with proximity to key growth drivers such as population, infrastructure and employment. From here we deliver buildings that are carefully designed and constructed to meet the specific needs of the occupier, whether they are an owner or a tenant.
It is this fastidious attention to detail that drives desirability and therefore strong long term value growth for our clients.
Britely offers a wealth of experience with key personnel having a combined 27 years industry experience and a track record of creating of over AU$1 billion of projects in Australia.
